Solar Generation is an initiative of Greenpeace, in which students who really want climate change can take action and find solutions. Solar Generation already excists in France, Germany, Switzerland, United States, Philippines, China and India. Students can make out a case for concrete changes, like installing solar panels on the roof of their university or clean energy in their students' house. They belong to a generation that can make a difference. During the Solar Weekend Festival in Roermond on the13th and 14th of August the first students can sign up. At this event the Solar Generation Team cooks at the 'Solar Cooker', builds a lounge tent and creates with the students a Solar work of art. After this kick off Solar Generation will visit colleges and universities throughout the country to attract more students for the project.
