Locations:Europe, East Europe, Alpine Countries-Geneva-SwitzerlandDate:3 Mar, 2005Credit:© Greenpeace / Ex-Press / Michael WürtenbergMaximum size:2200px X 1520pxRestrictions:FOR NON-COMMERCIAL GREENPEACE PUBLISHED MATERIAL. Even the pompous 75th Auto Salon in Geneva shows that the auto industry pushes primarily climate-consuming and intensive large vehicles with high CO2 emissions. Federal Schmid takes part in the patronage and in the Honorary Committee of the Motor Show this year. The total Federal Council will soon decide on this subject. It should not be the obligations of the car lobby that decide, but the climate and hence the welfare of the population should be the priority.
