Climate Action in front of the Parliament Building in Bern
Seven Greenpeace activists dressed as the Swiss national soccer team warn the Swiss people for the destruction of the Alpine region with a symbolic action in front of the Federal Parliament building.
In original language:

Shoot:
Climate Action in front of the Parliament Building in Bern Switzerland
Seven Greenpeace activists dressed as the Swiss national soccer team warn the Swiss people for the destruction of the Alpine region with a symbolic action in front of the Federal Parliament building. With today's adopted bilateral agreements the Federal Council shows that it will only conditionally guarantee the a timely and proper implementation of the Protection of the Alps-article. Greenpeace believes that this attitude is very regrettable and calls upon the Parliament to fully bring the ‚protect the Alps article’, which was adopted in 1994 by voting citizens, into practice. The Federal Council had presented its ideas about how the, for the implementation of the ‚Protection of the Alps-article’ indigestible, bilateral contract should be designed to still be ‚Alp-tolerant’. Greenpeace is criticising the Federal Council because it still can’t guarantee a timely and proper implementation of the ‚Protection of the Alps-article’.
