With this peaceful protest, activists that are worried about their land and their future, are sending a strong message to oil companies to abandontheir plans for fossil fuel extraction in one of the most beautiful areas of Greece. They are also asking the Greek Energy minister, George Stathakis, to cancel all permits for oil and natural gas extraction. The international scientific community warns that we have less than 12 years to prevent catastrophic climate change.
