Climate Emergency Action at Laguna de Aculeo in Chile
Greenpeace activists protest at the Laguna de Aculeo for urgent and ambitious action on climate.
They show images of the lake when it was still full of water.
The Laguna de Aculeo is a lake which used to be full of water and biodiversity. In only a few years it has run dry, illustrating the worst impacts of the climate crisis.
At the upcoming COP25 (2019 United Nations Climate Change Conference), we demand that Governments:
- Move to step up climate action immediately
- Prove they have heard the demands of the youth and the people
- Move forward to enact a socially just climate transition that leaves no one behind.
