Climate Protection Action in Front of the ECB in Frankfurt
Extreme weather events like those in the Ahr Valley and on the Erft River endanger life and limb - and also price stability. This is the result of a new study by Greenpeace Germany, the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW) and SOAS University of London. For this reason, six Greenpeace activists are calling for urgent action against the climate crisis in front of the European Central Bank (ECB). They have erected the word "future" as an ice sculpture about 7.50 metres wide and 1.90 metres high. The occasion is the meeting of the ECB Governing Council, the highest decision-making body of the European central banks.
