Coal Ash Disposal Site in China

The Dangliuzhuang ash disposal site, which belongs to the Datong City Number 2 Power Plant, began accepting “wet-treated” coal ash waste in 1992. In March 2010 it also began accepting dry coal ash waste. When the trucks dump their load of ash, a cloud of dust chokes the air. In addition to this site, the Datong City Number 2 Power Plant owns another disposal site, which occupies some village fields
