Coyote in Canadian Boreal Forest
Coyote (Canis latrans).
The coyote’s excellent sense of smell and hearing helps it locate prey under the snow. They are able to stalk prey by walking on the tips of their toes, and hunt and scavenge for meat of other animals, coyotes eat fruits and grasses. These versatile animals can be found across North America.
