Greenpeace activists together with other environmental groups are demonstrating for a fundamental change in the meat industry at the meat factory of industry leader Toennies in Rheda-Wiedenbrueck. The slaughterhouse restarted this day. They are demanding "Stop the pig system" on a banner next to the company logo. Due to mass corona infections among the employees, the factory had to close on June 21.

Fuer einen grundlegenden Wandel in der Fleischindustrie demonstrieren Greenpeace-Aktivistinnen und Aktivisten zusammen mit anderen Umweltschutzgruppen am Fleischwerk des Branchenfuehrers Toennies in Rheda-Wiedenbrueck.An diesem Tag laeuft der Schlachtbetrieb wieder an. Sie fordern auf einem Banner „Schluss mit dem Schweinesystem!“. Wegen massenhafter Corona-Infektionen unter den Beschaeftigten musste der Betrieb am 21. Juni schliessen.
