Detox Action at Mammut Headquarters in Switzerland
More than 15 Greenpeace activists from six countries have rigged up a portaledge (bivouac) on the facade of the Mammut company’s headquarters in Seon. The activists invite the company to rejoin them at the negotiating table they brought along to search for a solution and sign a detox commitment to eliminate PFCs from the entire production chain. On their perch in midair, the activists bake pies and brew coffee and say they are ready to spend the night if necessary. More activities, such as a PFC info point, are happening in front of the main entrance. Greenpeace invites Mammut employees to discuss Greenpeace campaign and demands over a bowl of soup.
