Locations:Amsterdam-Netherlands-Western EuropeDate:11 May, 2012Credit:© Greenpeace / Jeroen StaatsMaximum size:3897px X 5846pxKeywords:Art works-Chemical industry-Chemicals-Clothing-Day-Detox (campaign title)-Direct communications-Fashion-Graffiti-G-Star Raw-KWCI (GPI)-Local population-Logos-Manual workers-Outdoors-Pollutants-Reverse graffiti actions-Rubbish-Shops-Textile industry-Toxics (campaign title)-Urban areasShoot:Detox G-Star 'Reverse Graffiti' in NLGreenpeace activists use a high pressure cleaner to create “Reverse Graffiti’ on the pavement in front of a G-Star shop in one of the main shopping areas in Amsterdam. The action is part of the Greenpeace Detox Campaign, which aims to raise awareness of the pollution caused by the fashion sector around the world. Greenpeace is calling on all fashion brands to "Detox" and eliminate all hazardous chemicals from their supply chain and products, and to respond to the urgency of the issue by setting clear and ambitious short-term deadlines for the elimination of the most toxic and hormone-disrupting substances.
