Greenpeace Hong Kong, in collaboration with The Hong Kong University, held a multi-stakeholder forum. The dialogue included local and international retailers, NGOs, academia, science and government officials to discuss food packaging solutions in Hong Kong. We also delivered the customers' demands of plastic-free supermarket.

The founder of French plastic-free supermarket - Didier Onraira from ‘Day By Day’ supermarket- joined the forum. This supermarket in France is showing a good example of unwrapping groceries that local supermarkets in Hong Kong should follow. In the forum, the local supermarkets have a clear interest in plastics reduction and many initiatives were discussed or being developed.
