Despite warnings from health authorities on the dangers posed by the diesel oil spill occurred on August 8th and affecting three coastal towns of Cavite province, fishers' children play on the shore near the fish port of Rosario, the town hardest hit by the environmental disaster. Greenpeace laments the serious ecological and health hazards caused by the diesel oil spill that has already damaged the marine environment and threatens the lives and livelihoods of communities in the affected coastal areas.
