The textile industry is the third largest source of industrial wastewater in China where as much as 70 percent of rivers, lakes and reservoirs are polluted. But as Greenpeace latest reveals, this pollution is not limited to the countries where heavy industry is located, but is happening in any country where the clothing is sold and washed. The posters were also put up in shopping centres, by rivers and in other locations in cities including Amsterdam, Stockholm, River Rhine, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Bangkok, Madrid and Jakarta.Related Collections:Year in Pictures 2012 (Photo & Videos)Year in Pictures 2012 - Broad Edit (All Photographers)"Detox" Melting Posters Around the World (Photos & Videos)
