Dismantling CRTs at Toxics Electronic Waste Recycling in Slovakia

Workers dismantle obsolete cathode ray tubes (CRTs) from TVs and monitors in e-waste recycling facility owned by Arguss company in Slovakia.
Toxic phosphers are contained within the glass envelope of a CRT and the glass envelopes themselves are made from leaded glass. The lead can leak into landfills and contaminate nearby water supplies.
