Op het spandoek staat: "Save the Forest Save our Future!" oftewel: "Red onze Bossen Red onze Toekomst!".Locations:Netherlands-The HagueDate:15 Mar, 2006Credit:© Greenpeace / Rob KeerisMaximum size:4368px X 2912pxRestrictions:NO FUNDRAISINGKeywords:Actions and protests-Ancient forests-Banners-Children-Day-Deforestation-Dutch Government-Forests (campaign title)-Government buildings-Greenpeace youth groups-Greenteams-Indoors-KWCI (GPI)-Medium group of people-Politicians-Pre-adolescent children (10-13)-YoungShoot:Forests Action Greenteam the NetherlandsSeventy Greenteam members in the age of 10 till 16, offer Dutch minister of environment Van Geel thousands of paper paradise birds connected on a 150 meter rope. These birds were folded by the children out of concern for the world's ancient forests. The birds symbolize all the animals living in ancient forests, threatened by deforestation. They also brought homemade banners and two big paper paradise birds along. A children's-choir sings the ancient forest-song: 'Ho! Stop! Kappen met kappen! which means 'Ho! Stop Logging!'
