Examination of Fruits from Brazil in Germany
The EU-Mercosur trade agreement provides for tariffs to be reduced. This also applies to highly toxic pesticides exported from the EU to Brazil. Greenpeace Germany is testing fruits (Mangos, Papayas, Limes and figs) from Brazil sold in German supermarkets for pesticide residues.
