Forest Fires in Amazon - 2019 (Photos)

The number of fire outbreaks registered in the Amazon in 2019 is one of the largest in recent years. From January to August 20, the number of fires in the region was 145% higher than in the same period of 2018. Greenpeace did an overflight at various locations in the Amazon to document and record the extension of the destruction caused by fires and deforestation.
