In 2017, the company (SCA) was divided into two different companies: Essity with tissue and hygiene products and the forest company SCA. SCA supply pulp to Essity which makes some of the worlds best known brands of toilet paper and tissue. These brands are directly linked to the destruction of some of the most critical forest areas left in the Great Northern Forest.
