Fortum - Phase Out Coal Action in Norway

SEB is a strategic creditor and part of the syndicate that lent money to Nordic energy conglomerate Fortum for the increased acquisition of Uniper, a German coal utility giant.

Finnish owned Fortum recently acquired a 49.9% share in Uniper. Fortum has now received financing to increase its ownership of Uniper from 49.9% to over 70%.
