French frigate shadowing RAINBOW WARRIOR at the 12 mile exclusion zone around the French nuclear test site of Moruroa, South Pacific. Commandoes boarded the RAINBOW WARRIOR after it entered the nuclear test exclusion zone. All the crew were removed from the ship. Most of them were deported - 7 crew members were later allowed back onto the RAINBOW WARRIOR to sail it to Rarotonga.
