The banner is reading in German: “Suisse qualité braucht Gentech-Moratorium“ or translated: "Swiss quality needs GE moratorium“. Unter den Trachtenschürzen und –westen kamen Slogans für eine gentechfreie Landwirtschaft zum Vorschein. Der Wirtschafts- und Agrarminister wurde aufgefordert, seine Druckversuche aufzugeben auf Bauern und ParlamentarierInnen, die ein Anbau-Moratorium für Gentech-Pflanzen unterstützen. The minister of Economics and Agricultural was asked to give up the pressure which is put on farmers and parliamentarians who support a moratorium on genetically engineered crops. A Federal Council must be committed to the common good and not the corporate interests of Syngenta & Co.
