Great Gray Owl in Canadian Boreal Forest
Great grey owl (Strix nebulosa).
This bird’s fluffy plumage makes it appear much larger than it actually is. It can be found in the west coast mountain ranges all the way east to the boreal forest of Ontario. They prey on small rodents, birds and, occasionally, frogs.
