Greenpeace Crew in Greenland

A Greenpeace crew member helps with the boat navigation through the pack ice during an expedition in the Arctic territory in Greenland to document evidence of climate change, highlight the threats that loom over this region and to call for its protection.
Greenpeace is campaigning for the creation of an Arctic Sanctuary at the top of the world and a ban on offshore oil drilling and destructive fisheries in the entire Arctic Ocean.

Greenland Arctic Expedition

A team from Greenpeace Spain carries out an expedition to the Arctic territory in Greenland to document evidence of climate change, highlight the threats that loom over this region and to call for its protection. Spanish musician Alejandro Sanz joins the expedition.
During the tour the team, accompanied by Inuits, visits the Apusiaajik glacier in Kulusuk, whose front has  retreated 1.5 kilometers in the last 10 -15 years. Banners are displayed reading “Save the Arctic” in both English and Spanish.
