Hold the Line - Documentary - Episode 2
Is it worth suffocating the Cerrado in the name of agribusiness? Development for whom? What future will we have if we run out of our natural resources? These are some of the issues raised by this three-episode documentary web series that portrays the region known as Matopiba (Maranhão, Tocantins, Piauí, and Bahia), one of the main expansion fronts of agribusiness in Brazil.
Over the course of two years, Greenpeace has been in the region to showcase the beauty of the Cerrado and the drama of traditional populations that live with the devastating and “at any cost” advance of agribusiness.

Ao longo de dois anos, o Greenpeace esteve na região para mostrar as belezas do Cerrado e o drama de populações tradicionais que convivem com o avanço devastador e “a qualquer custo” do agronegócio.
