International Coastal Clean-up Day in the Philippines
"The running priest," Fr. Robert Reyes, joined Greenpeace volunteers in kayaks and boats, along with hundreds of Laguna youth, who all collected wastes along the coast of Laguna de Bay in Calamba for International Coastal Clean-up Day. Greenpeace is calling for full disclosure on industrial pollutions discharged to water bodies, citing the public's right to know about such possible threats to the environment, water sources and human health.
