This follows the launch of an international campaign to get KFC to stop using APP (Asia Pulp & Paper) paper made by destroying Indonesian rainforest habitat in its packaging. Locations:Netherlands-Utrecht-Western EuropeDate:27 Oct, 2012Credit:© Greenpeace / Gerard TilMaximum size:5399px X 3552pxKeywords:Asia Pulp and Paper (APP)-Deforestation-Direct communications-Food-Forests (campaign title)-Greenpeace activists-Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC)-KWCI (GPI)-Logos-Medium group of people-Outdoors-Paper-Paper industry-Petitions-Public engagement-Rainforests-RestaurantsShoot:KFC Packaging Action in The NetherlandsAs part of an international campaign for protection of the Indonesian rainforest Greenpeace volunteers hold actions in different cities in the Netherlands. The purpose is to highlight how KFC uses paper and cardboard packaging for their food products made from rainforests. These forests are the habitat of the endangered Sumatran tiger. An activist dressed as a tiger washes dishes for the KFC customers while others inform the public about the campaign and ask them to sign a petition card.
