Two Russian VVER reactors of 1000MWe capacity are in its final testing phase. A report prepared by Russian State Council, chaired by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, claims the reactors to be “under-prepared for both natural and man-made disasters ranging from floods to fires to earthquakes or plain negligence”.
