Greenpeace flew over Conservation Units (Serra Geral do Tocantins Ecological Station, Jalapão State Park and Nascente do Rio Parnaíba National Park), in the heart of the Cerrado, and deforested areas cleared for soybean plantation inside the Cachoeira do Estrondo Condominium. The farm is a clear example of deforestation aimed for commodity harvesting. More than 118,000 hectares have been deforested since 2000.Related Collections:Brazilian Cerrado - All Images
