Dr. Christie Manning, Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies and Psychology, joined fellow Minnesotans and allied organizations gathered at Governor Tim Walz’s office in the State Capitol to urge him and his administration to stop the Enbridge Line 3 tar sands pipeline with petition signatures from across Minnesota. Greenpeace, together with MN350, Sierra Club North Star Chapter, Honor the Earth, Environment Minnesota, Daily Kos, and CREDO Action presented signatures from Minnesotans urging Walz and his administration to respect Indigenous treaty rights and protect the land, water, wild rice, and climate from the threats posed by Enbridge’s Line 3 pipeline project.
