Greenpeace holds a MAKE SMTHNG Week event at the Flutgraben e.V. showing there's an alternative to endless consumerism of cheap electronics and fast fashion that truly harms our environment.

The MAKE SMTHNG Week helps you to give beloved things a second life. No matter if you wish to repair them, to make them even more beautiful, or even if you create something new from it: in 40 countries worldwide Greenpeace's MAKE SMTHNG week brings together the Maker Movement. Instead of buying new things such as cheap electronics and fast fashion it's all about making something, sharing knowledge and learning new things. Free workshops will teach how to upcycle, repair, DIY, zero waste (cooking) and much more.
MAKE SMTHNG is a true alternative to bargain hunting that doesn't give us any satisfaction and has a heavy impact on our environment. Greenpeace in Berlin welcomes partner organizations such as Fashion Revolution, fff (@ffffuturefashionforward), #Breakfreefromplastic, Shareable, Fab Lab, The Restart Project and Arts Thread. 

Berlin 24.11.2018 - Greenpeace veranstaltet im Rahmen der MAKE SMTHNG Week eine Maker-Movement-Veranstaltung im Millerntor Fußballstadion und zeigt dabei eine coole Alternative zum Überkonsum von billigen Elektrogeräten und Fast Fashion. Letzteres hat einen verheerenden Einfluss auf unsere Umwelt.

Wie man bereits vorhandenen Dingen ein zweites Leben schenken, sie reparieren und verschönern kann, zeigt MAKE SMTHNG: Die Aktionswoche findet ab Samstag weltweit in 40 Ländern statt und bietet zahlreiche Events mit Kreativen und Künstlern, die in kostenlosen Workshops Fähigkeiten aus den Bereichen Upcycling, Reparatur, DIY und Zero Waste vermitteln. In Deutschland laden die Partner-Organisationen Greenpeace, Fashion Revolution, fff (@ffffuturefashionforward), #Breakfreefromplastic, Shareable, Fab Lab, The Restart Project und Arts Thread vom 24.
