Mama Sara Obama after Solar Panels Installation in Kenya
Mama Sara Obama, the US President's grandmother, flicks on the lights after a Greenpeace team installed a solar power system at her home in Kogelo Village.
The solar installations are part of a 20 day renewable energy workshop hosted by Greenpeace's Solar Generation with 25 participants from the Kibera Community Youth Programme and community members of Nyang'oma Kogelo.

A team composed by Greenpeace's Solar Generation members, participants of the Kibera Community Youth Programme and community members of Nyang'oma Kogelo, carry out a series of workshops on solar panels installation in several villages in Kenya. As part of the programme a solar power system is installed at the house of Mama Sara Obama, the US President's grandmother.
