Greenpeace activists obstruct the super trawler FV Margiris off the coast of Port Lincoln, South Australia. The activists attempted to board the vessel to prevent the pilot guiding the vessel to harbour. The activists then prevented the vessel docking by locking on to the wharf and positioning a RHIB between the super trawler and the dock. Greenpeace is calling on the Australian Government to refuse to grant a fishing license to the FV Margiris and introduce a policy to ban all super trawlers from Australian waters.

UPDATE: In late 2012, the Margiris was renamed 'Abel Tasman.'
