Muak Lek Conservation club, Center of Peace and Conflict Studies, EnLaw and Greenpeace Southeast Asia organise a press conference to show their concerns on the failure of the Environmental and Health Impact Assessment (EHIA) regarding the Muak Lek coal power plant project.
The group states that the EHIA of the 150-megawatt coal fired power plant project is not comprehensive and properly conducted. This may cause inevitable impacts on environment and people’s health.

การประเมินผลกระทบทางสิ่งแวดล้อมและสุขภาพ(EHIA) ของโครงการโรงไฟฟ้าถ่านหินมวกเหล็กที่ไม่ครอบคลุมและก่อให้เกิดความไม่ชอบธรรมในกระบวนการซึ่งอาจจะส่งผลต่อภาระต้นทุนทางเศรษฐกิจสิ่งแวดล้อมและสุขภาพต่อประชาชนในพื้นที่อย่างหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ได้
