Mussel Farmers in Rayong Province in Thailand
Workers from Thailand's inland provinces of the Isan region, brought in to work in mussel farms located next to the BLCP coal power plant in Map Ta Phut Industrial Zone which is known for causing all types of pollution issues due to its burning of coal. Mussels thrive in polluted waters and the farmers receive payment from BLCP for their work.
