The Oil Free Otago Flotilla meets Anadarko’s drillship, the Noble Bob Douglas at the site where it will drill an exploratory well in the Canterbury Basin off the coast of Otago. The site is more than one kilometre deep and drilling is expected to reach a total depth of 2800 metres. Community leaders aboard SV Tiama call the drillship and ask it to leave.
