Nuclear Action on the Brandenburg Gate
During the nuclear summit attended by chancellor Angela Merkel around 50 Greenpeace activists unfurl a 3 x 18 meter long banner on the Brandenburg Gate in support of rapid change in energy policy and total German withdrawal from nuclear power generation as soon as possible and no later than by 2015. The banners read "Germany says no to nuclear power!? and "Jeder tag atomkraft ist einer zu viel!" ("Every day of nuclear power is a day too much").
