North Sea 05.12.2010, Greenpeace got aboard a small plane in order to film oil rigs to document the constant oil pollution in the North sea area. These oil and gas rigs are dangerous in their operation and are responsible for the creeping pollution of the ocean - this is the result of the current Greenpeace overflight. For five North Sea rigs Greenpeace experts recorded large oil spill areas. Greenpeace checked on 25 of the roughly 400 oil and gas rigs. The BP oil rigs west of the Shetland isles are particularly dangerous, as they operate in over 400 meter water depth. Diese Öl- und Gasplattformen sind in ihrem Betrieb gefährlich und für die schleichende Verschmutzung des Meeres verantwortlich - das ist das Ergebnis des aktuellen Greenpeace-Überfluges. Bei fünf Nordsee-Plattformen registrierten Greenpeace-Experten große Ölverschmutzungsflächen. Greenpeace überprüfte 25 der rund 400 Öl- und Gasplattformen.
