Beyond Extreme Energy (BXE), together with artists, concerned citizens, landowners, and prominent guests, took direct action against the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for its role in destroying the Holleran family maple farm in New Milford Pennsylvania. FERC’s pipeline permit gave the Constitution Pipeline Company and its chainsaw team - aided by heavily-armed federal marshals - the "right" to clear-cut Hollerans' the maple tree stand on the family farm, in the middle of the maple sugaring season.
