A large crowd takes to the street in a parade called "Samba for Life" with two thousand children from all around the world. People hold a banner reading "Save Our Forests! Save Our Oceans! Save Our Future!" The event appealed to ministers gathered at the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP8) to reduce biodiversity loss and to protect the worlds last remaining ancient forests and the oceans for future generations. 

Ueber 1500 Kinder und Jugendliche des internationalen Greenpeace Kids for Forest Projekts, brasilianischer Pfadfinder und des Projekts Uni Livre starten vor der CBD-Konferenz (Convention of Biological Diversity) eine farbenpraechtige Sambaparade. Die Kids for Forests demonstrieren fuer den Erhalt der Artenvielfalt und den Schutz der letzten Urwaelder.
