In Rome, Greenpeace Italy activists unfurled a banner with the message “Recovery fund: people and Planet before profits”, addressing the government and the President Conte. The organisation states that the recovery funds should not be used to finance fossil projects, such as the Carbon Capture Storage in Ravenna, a project in the hands of Eni that will allow the company to extract more gas, one of the main energy sources responsible for the climate emergency. 

A Roma, gli attivisti di Greenpeace Italia hanno dispiegato uno striscione con il messaggio “Recovery fund: le persone e il pianeta prima dei profitti”, rivolgendosi al governo e al presidente Conte. L'organizzazione afferma che i fondi di recupero non dovrebbero essere utilizzati per finanziare progetti fossili, come il Carbon Capture Storage di Ravenna, un progetto in mano a Eni che permetterà all'azienda di estrarre più gas, uno dei principali responsabili del clima emergenza.
