Petition Delivery to Novartis in Basel
Greenpeace delivers a double petition, signed by more than 10,000 people, to the chemical industry companies of Basel, demanding the cleaning up of the toxic dump sites in the area. A photo-petition is exposed in front of Novartis headquarters and a classical signature petition should be delivered to the managers in presence of local politicians and other celebrities … but not one of the seven invited managers appears. Novartis and Syngenta send representatives, while the other companies are not attending the invitation.
