Since October 1, 2020, parts of the "Herrenwald" and "Maulbach Forest" in Hesse have been cleared for the continued construction of the A49 highway. Seit dem 1. Oktober 2020 werden in Hessen Teile des angrenzenden Herrenwaldes und Maulbacher Waldes für den Weiterbau der Autobahn A49 gerodet.
