Due to inadequate work of the German food monitoring authority, consumers are badly protected from pesticide-contaminated food. This is the conclusion which is presented in Greenpeace study "Pesticides out of control". The controls are not frequent enough, the research laboratories are usually not on the necessary technical and scientific level, and only six federal states provide consumer transparency. The signatories demand efficient checks and food without pesticide contamination from Seehofer and the Ministers of Agriculture. In original language:Protestkarten fur Verbraucherminister SeehoferNeue Greenpeace-Studie: Lebensmittelkontrollen mangelhaft. Verbraucherminister Seehofer (CSU) bekommt 65.000 Protestkarten fur Essen ohne Pestizide. Locations:Berlin-Europe-GermanyDate:10 Apr, 2006Credit:© Paul Langrock / GreenpeaceMaximum size:2362px X 1648pxKeywords:Actions and protests-Agriculture-Day-Department of Agriculture (DA)-European Union (EU)-Flags-German Government-Indoors-Journalism-Journalists-KWCI (GPI)-Low angle view-Microphones-Pesticides-Petitions-Political leaders-Politicians-SAGE (campaign title)-Signs-Small group of people-Toxics (campaign title)Shoot:Petition against Pesticides in BerlinGreenpeace hands over 65 000 protest cards against the use of pesticides to Consumer Protection Minister Horst Seehofer (CSU).
