Although the government is organising ‘green flower market’, Greenpeace still found that over 300,000 pieces of single-use plastic cutlery are used daily and most of them cannot be recycled. Single-use plastic wastage is still a severe problem in Lunar New Year Fairs in Hong Kong, and recycling is NOT a real solution. Greenpeace urged that waste reduction should be the focus.
