Plastic Wave in Zagreb
As part of the campaign against single use plastics, Greenpeace in Croatia set up a 6 meter wide “Plastic Wave” structure at King Tomislav Square in Zagreb. Citizens took photos with the wave throughout the day, holding banners “#NoPlastic", "More Mediterranean, Less Plastic" and others. This campaign was launched together with Spain, Italy, Greece and Bulgaria with the aim to fight single use plastics and the plastic pollution, with the focus on the Mediterranean Sea. The “Plastic Wave” was created by the Spanish office and was already set up in Valencia, Spain and then it traveled to Croatia.
