Activists from Friends of the Earth, Extinction Rebellion, Fridays for Future, and Greenpeace, gather in Lysekil, to support local groups in their demonstration against the expansion of the Preem operated ‘Preemraff’ oil refinery in Lysekil, Sweden. The groups participate in a series of speeches and events, before embarking on a three hour march from Lysekil town to the oil refinery.

The demonstration takes place on the day the County Administrative Board, the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, and Swedish Nature Conservation Association meet in the Land and Environmental Court to negotiate the planned expansion. This process will result in a decision basis for the government to decide on the Preem expansion plan.
