Projection against Coal at Puchuncavi´s Thermoelectric Plant in Chile
Greenpeace carries out a projection onto the thermoelectric plant in Puchuncaví, Chile, with messages in English and Spanish to highlight the too little ambition in the decarbonization plan announced by the Chilean government. Two of the messages projected say “Coal is Chile’s Climate Emergency” and “Is this the COP25 Summit venue?”.
The activity is also to warn that the plan, in practice, will present Chile at the next United Nations Climate Change conference (COP25), which is taking place in Santiago, with the largest levels of coal use in the country's history.
In original language:
Greenpeace calls for immediate closure of thermo plants in Quintero-Puchuncaví
