With one meter big blips, the environmental activists projected a count up of the numbers of premature deaths caused by nitrogen oxide since the diesel scandal became known. In Germany high levels of nitrogen oxide promote 10.610 premature deaths per year. This leads to 19.807 deaths since 18th September 2015, when the exhaust scandal became public. The activists ask transport Minister Alexander Dobrindt (CSU - Christian Social Union) for the withdrawal from combustion engines by 2025.
