A major fire destroyed large parts of the farm at the end of March, also killing approximately 50,000 pigs, including sows and piglets.

Greenpeace-Aktivist:innen protestieren mit einem Transparent an Silos einer Fabrikfarm in Alt Tellin. Die Umweltaktivist:innen demonstrieren gegen die Pläne für eine neue Schweinestallanlage und fordern ein Verbot solcher Großfarmen. Ein Großbrand zerstörte Ende März große Teile der Farm und tötete auch rund 50.000 Schweine, darunter Sauen und Ferkel.
